World Youth Summit-Kurdistan 2026
Welcome to the official website of World Youth Summit-Kurdistan 2026 (“World Youth Summit-Kurdistan”, “the Summit”, “we”, “us” or “our”), organised by Kurdistan Foundation. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website located at worldyouthsummit.krd (the “Website”), including all content, features, the participant portal and the services offered through it.
By accessing, browsing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Code of Conduct, which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website.
01About World Youth Summit-Kurdistan
World Youth Summit-Kurdistan 2026 is an international youth summit organised by Kurdistan Foundation and held from 24 to 26 November 2026 across multiple venues in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The Website publishes information, news and updates about the Summit, its programme, speakers, partners and venues. Registered users have access to a personal participant portal, through which they can register for the Summit, choose the workshops they wish to attend, view their personal agenda and obtain their Summit badge.
02Eligibility
Participants aged eighteen (18) or over register through the participant portal. By creating a participant portal account or registering for the Summit, you represent and warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you register on behalf of an organisation or delegation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Persons under eighteen (18) years of age may take part in the Summit only with the written consent of a parent, legal guardian or first-degree relative aged eighteen (18) or over (the “consenting adult”). Participants under eighteen (18) do not register through the participant portal. Instead, the consenting adult must contact us at info@worldyouthsummit.krd to register the participant. We will provide a consent form, which must be completed and signed before the registration can be confirmed. By giving consent, the consenting adult accepts these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Code of Conduct on the participant’s behalf and remains responsible for the participant, including their travel to, from and between Summit venues.
03User Accounts and Registration
3.1Participant Portal
Registration for the Summit takes place through the participant portal. Your portal allows you to register and participate in the Summit, choose your workshops, view your personal agenda and obtain your Summit badge. When you create an account, you agree to provide information that is accurate, current and complete, and to keep it updated at all times. You will be asked to confirm electronically that you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Code of Conduct. That confirmation has the same effect as a written acceptance. Participants under eighteen (18) are registered by email, as described in Section 2.
3.2Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your portal login details and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at info@worldyouthsummit.krd of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login details.
3.3Accuracy of Submitted Information
Information provided through the participant portal is used to confirm your registration, allocate workshop places, issue your badge, prepare your personal agenda and manage attendance and security at Summit venues. Providing false, misleading or incomplete information, including about your identity or age, may result in the cancellation of your registration, the withdrawal of your badge, the suspension or closure of your account and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities.
3.4No Guarantee of Participation
Creating an account or submitting a registration does not constitute confirmation of attendance, accreditation or invitation. All registrations are subject to review and approval by the Summit’s organising committee, which reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion and without obligation to provide reasons. Your participation is confirmed only when shown as confirmed in your participant portal.
3.5Workshops and Personal Agenda
Workshop places are limited and are allocated subject to availability. Your personal agenda in the participant portal shows the sessions, workshops and venues for which you are registered. Access to workshop rooms may be restricted to registered participants. We may change workshops, timings, rooms or venues, and any change will be shown in your personal agenda.
3.6Summit Badges
Once your registration is confirmed, your badge details will be available in the participant portal. Badges are collected in person from the first day of the Summit, 24 November 2026, at the accreditation desk, on presentation of valid photo identification, such as a passport or national identity card. Participants under eighteen (18) may be asked to present the signed consent form when collecting their badge. Your badge:
- is personal, non-transferable and may be used only by the person named on it
- may display your name, photograph, organisation and attendee category
- must be worn visibly at all times at every Summit venue and shown to staff or security on request
- may be scanned on entry to venues, sessions and workshops
- remains the property of the Summit and may be withdrawn if these Terms or the Code of Conduct are breached.
Lost or damaged badges must be reported immediately to the accreditation desk. Lending, copying or altering a badge is a serious breach of these Terms.
3.7Fees and Refunds
Participation in the Summit is free of charge. As no fee is charged, no refunds apply.
3.8Travel and Attendance
Unless we confirm otherwise in writing, participants are responsible for their own travel to Erbil and between Summit venues, and for their own accommodation, insurance and entry requirements.
3.9Withdrawal
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration through the participant portal as early as possible so that your place can be offered to another participant.
04Acceptable Use
